UPDATED NC FACE MASK GUIDELINES AFFECTING MAGNOLIA GREENS REC CENTER, CLUBHOUSE AND ALL OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES AND VENUES EFFECTIVE WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 25, 2020
To ensure the health and safety of our residents the Magnolia Greens BOD and members of the Facilities Committee will implement the NC Governor’s Executive Order # 180 beginning Wednesday, November 25, 2020. This order increases face covering requirements.
SPECIFICALLY: for any place outside the home:
-Face coverings are required in public places. Face Coverings must be worn indoors if anyone else is in that space who is not a member of the same household.
-Face coverings must be worn outdoors if it is not possible to consistently be physically distant by more than six (6) feet from non-household members.
FITNESS AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY FACILITIES:
All workers and guests must wear face coverings when they are inside the establishment regardless if they are exercising. The exception for people who are strenuously exercising has been removed.
STRENUOUSLY EXERCISING IS NO LONGER AN EXCUSE TO REMOVE THE FACE MASK.
Participants in Going Fit classes on the soccer field must maintain six (6) feet of separation or they must wear a mask. Residents using the tennis/pickleball/basketball courts, as well as those sitting on the sidelines, must maintain six (6) feet of separation or they must wear a face mask.
Face masks are required on the indoor pool deck. There has been no guidance from Executive Order # 180 that addresses swimming guidelines. Residents will be notified of any changes.
As always security cameras will aid in the enforcement of Executive Order #180.
